Often the school newsletters get lost, misplaced, etc. Through this page, we hope to keep you informed of what events are coming up and add any other relevant items. We've made use of Google Calendar to keep track of all the events in our busy school calendar, including the Baker Day schedule.
Baker Day Schedule
Each Friday is "Baker Day" at Little Red Hen. Each baker is requested to supply 45 cupcakes or one large beer box cake. Other children must bring 50c to school and put it in the money box at the entrance. The children whose parents have supplied cake for Baker day serve the cake from our special little shop and in this way the children learn about buying and selling.
