Caring for the Community
Recycling at Little Red Hen

At Little Red Hen, we actively encourage recycling and teaching our children to care for the environment. Through hands-on activities and everyday practices, we help them understand the importance of reducing waste and reusing materials creatively. Together, we’re building eco-conscious habits from a young age! As part of our recycling initiative, we encourage parents to collect glass and cans at home and bring them to school. This hands-on involvement helps children learn about sustainability and actively participate in making a difference.

Craft Collection
In support of our creative learning activities, we may occasionally ask parents to collect and send recyclable items such as toilet rolls, egg boxes, ice cream containers, cardboard boxes and other safe, reusable materials. These items play a valuable role in enriching our arts and crafts projects and encouraging imaginative play.

Giving Back at Little Red Hen
At Little Red Hen, we believe in the importance of community and teaching children the value of kindness and generosity. We actively support local charities and look for meaningful ways to give back to the community. Whether it’s through fun days, information days/visits, or special projects, we aim to make a positive difference—together with our families.
